Two Presidential Orders declare the Scheduled Areas in what was Andhra Pradesh in 2011 - The Scheduled Areas (Part A States) Order, 1950 and The Scheduled Areas (Part B States) Order, 1950. The districts they reach - as the first Order's text names them, as the Andhra Pradesh High Court recited them in Gundla Venkateswara Rao (1983), and as the Ministry of Panchayati Raj lists notified Fifth Schedule Areas - do not include this one, so no part of it is a Scheduled Area under them. A later Order could add one; this reference states the position as transcribed and reviewed on 2026-09-25.

What the record shows
